Discs and Screens

We produce filters in any shape and size from wire cloth and non-woven metal fiber felt.

Materials: Stainless steel, plain steel, galvanized steel, copper, brass, phosphor bronze, special alloys

Filtration grade: From 3 micron up to 10mm

Shape: Our technical department can provide virtually any shape or size. Ovals, rectangles, edged products, framed packs and extended screen area packs.

All products can be ultrasonically cleaned.

Framed Packs

Rolf Koerner manufactures filter discs and framed packs in various shapes and dimensions. Framed packs provide better sealing and typically the rim is made from aluminum, copper or stainless steel.

Framed packs can be manufactured to your requirements and exact dimensions.

Special support plates to optimize free surface area.

A support plate, "super plate", is a screen support used to increase the total open screen area to approximately 90%, due to its special design. Depending on the polymer you are filtering, different types of plates are used. The result is reduced back pressure and extended screen life.

Application areas

Filter discs are commonly used in screen changers for filtration of various, viscous media, e.g., plasticmetls (virgin or recycling), rubber or silcones.

Single layer or multi layer screens of wire cloth or metal fiber felt are used. Layer construction is depending on application and requested grade of filtration.
